Complete Story Mode

If you want to get the most out of the game, complete the story mode first. Don’t worry too much about S ranks when you start as later on, you’ll have high-level characters who will help you breeze through the ranks. However, if you choose to free roam, take time to get trophies related to techniques like “Guard Break”, “Flash Burst”, and “Flash Cancelling”.

Open the command list and read a description of each of your moves. Although the visual feedback in the match displays the message, it could be tricky to grasp the nature of the moves. That is why it’s wise to pause and check out the description to avoid complications. 

Clean Up All Story Mode Achievements

Once you complete Story Mode, your character will be in an excellent fighting position. At this point, you will have earned enough S ranks, so ‌replay the story battles while aiming toward Battle Genius.
